The last news roundup before Celebration London. A somber event.
Just kidding. Here’s some news.
Tabletop Games
A new FAQ is up for X-Wing Miniatures which changes things up a bit and introduces a handy timing chart for performing attacks.
Rebellion has also just got an FAQ that addresses some unclear elements of the game’s rules.
A new sourcebook for Force and Destiny has been announced. Endless Vigil is a sourcebook for Jedi Sentinels, which are some of the coolest Jedi.
Looks like this sourcebook will introduce some new urban environments so you can live out your fantasy of being a Jedi-Batman.
For Imperial Assault, we’ve finally got the preview for the Obi Wan ally pack! He looks like he’ll surely be an interesting addition to both the campaign and the Skirmish modes.
And if you’ve just picked up Imperial Assault but aren’t sure how to get started, the blokes at Shut Up & Sit Down have put together a how to play video for it.
The last Force Pack in the Endor Cycle, Redemption and Return, is available this week so keep an eye out for that.
Video Games
While not a video game per se, these amazing figures are based on Battlefront (which is a video game) so if you’re a collector you might not want to miss out on the Shocktrooper and the Jumptrooper figures.
Also get a load of this:
Make of that what you will.
And on the forums, Dennis (the Jesus of Battlefront developers) said this in response to ideas about new hero skins:
“Thanks for the idea guys. We definitely want to add more hero outfits to the game, but when it comes to customization our number one priority is to bring out more Imperial outfits.”
Nice.
Celebration is fast approaching and I’ll be there! Keep any eye on The Jodo Cast twitter account for live updates from different stuff such as the X-Wing Coruscant open or the EA Panel and more.
And since there’s not much else in the realm of video games this week, here’s a video of me murdering rebels.
