NEWS TIME! And there’s some big tabletop news this week! As well as some big news about Battlefront.
Tabletop
Paul Heaver is at it again. The reigning world champion of X-Wing for the third time in a row takes a closer look at the second card he’s designed for the game, Boba Fett crew card.
The upcoming game Star Wars Rebellion got a new preview, this time detailing the team play option, in the otherwise two-player game.
Literally just as I was about to wrap up this news article I refreshed the FFG homepage and was greeted to this!
Shadow War! New Ally and Villain packs announced for Imperial Assault!
Fantastic!
That’s not all though, in addition to these figure packs we’re getting a new boxed expansion, The Bespin Gambit!
Carbon freezing chamber?! And old wise looking Ithorian!
This expansion has me way more excited than the expansion news that follows below.
Video Games
There’s a Star Wars Humble Bundle happening now! So if you want a bunch of awesome Star Wars games at a really cheap price (and also give to charity) now is your chance!
Games included in the Humble Bundle include both KoTORs, Rebellion, Glactic Battlegrounds, and more.
In Battlefront news, EA has released an announcement on the Outer Rim DLC that’s set to hit before the month ends.
The DLC includes a new map for Sullust, and a Jabba’s palace map, as well as some new weapons: the Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol, and the Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim Star Cards. Sound interesting.
It also includes a new game mode.
And two new heroes. Huh.
Needless to say, a lot of people aren’t happy with this choice.
@russtin_bieber The inclusion of some does not automatically mean the exclusion of others 😉

I’m a bit bummed as well, but they fit well with the new maps coming out in this pack. I will try to reserve judgement until I’ve actually had some hands on time with them.
I will say though, if Nien’s emotes aren’t all just him laughing, I will be very upset.
It’s also been confirmed via Twitter that the next free update will be landing before the Outer Rim DLC lands.
@SWBFNewsFR Our March free content update will release before the Outer Rim DLC.
